“We always wanted a home for the kids to have their own space; I was very happy to finally have purchased a home for my family. The first day they gave us the keys we decided to gather some blankets and have a camp-out at the new house–everything was very exciting!”
Francisco and Rosa rented a place that was too small, the rent was too high. They wanted to own their own home.
Originally from Mexico, Francisco works for a wood company and creates things that are used in the garden; Rosa works part time in a Chinese restaurant and is the one in charge of caring for the children and taking them to school.
They love their new home. “The inside is very spacious and beautiful and it has a yard for my kids to play in,” Francisco explains. “I enjoy that I now use my time to create things that make my home beautiful.” He’s gone on to make a fence for their yard–all their neighbors love it and many have offered Francisco side jobs like fence repair and other small projects.
“I am relieved with the thought that this will be the home of my children for many years to come.”
