Proud Ground partners with real estate developers to create permanently affordable homeownership units in affordable and mixed-income developments. By partnering with Proud Ground, real estate developers are meeting inclusionary housing obligations and building to solve the affordable homeownership shortage in our communities.
Proud Ground works in partnership with developers during pre-development to consult on price points and design to ensure units meet the needs of Proud Ground homebuyers. Proud Ground is seeking developers that can offer pricing that is affordable to families earning between 60-80% AMI. In addition to units with affordable prices funded by developments, Proud Ground occasionally brings down-payment assistance grants to help meet affordable price requirements.
Currently, Proud Ground is prioritizing real estate developments with family-sized units, with specific interest in Portland’s Lents and N/NE Urban Renewal Areas, as well as in Lincoln County.
