Couch Street Townhomes

Experience modern, sustainable living in a vibrant Portland location!

The Development

This innovative project, a collaboration between Proud Ground, ReviveNW Construction, and BridgeTown Equity, is creating 16 modern and affordable 3-bedroom townhomes with thoughtfully designed features.

These energy efficient homes feature solar panels for true "net zero" electric living, and a generous 10-year property tax abatement, further enhancing their affordability. These stylish homes enjoy spacious layouts for comfort, and commuting is a breeze with the Blue Line MAX just a block away.

The Neighborhood & Community

Hazelwood, a Portland neighborhood situated around NE 148th and NE Couch St., presents a compelling blend of accessibility and affordability. Residents benefit from convenient transportation options, including the MAX light rail and major freeways, facilitating easy commutes throughout the city. The neighborhood also offers various amenities, from shopping centers and restaurants to abundant parks and recreational spaces, including the expansive Glendoveer Golf Course. Furthermore, Hazelwood's vibrant community fosters a variety of amenities, and the presence of Adventist Hospital ensures readily available healthcare services.

The Team Behind Couch Street Townhomes

Proud Ground’s role

Proud Ground owns the land and holds it in our community land trust, which means home buyers only have to afford the cottages themselves, thus providing these homes at a price well below market value. Prospective home buyers will gain access to Proud Ground’s Homeownership Education and Counseling programs and ongoing educational opportunities to support homeownership and financial stability.
