Katie, a part of Proud Ground since 2004, holds a Master's in Social Work and is a licensed Principal Real Estate Broker in Oregon, and a HUD Certified Housing Counselor. Her background includes assisting first-time homebuyers through USDA Rural Development’s Self Help Homeownership Program in SW Colorado, neighbor-to-neighbor mediation, board service for the NW Community Land Trust Coalition, diverse youth engagement, and extensive research on regional community indicators. Katie offers HUD-approved homebuyer counseling and education, post-purchase support, program leadership, and management of grant contracts, lender, title, and realtor relations.
