No. The event will have neither live nor silent auction items. We will, however, have a paddle raise for those attendees inspired to support our work. There also will be a raffle.

English Language Financial Beginnings: Savings and Retirement
Proud Ground has partnered with Financial Beginnings for this workshop to help you gain an understanding of the value of compound interest to save and invest for a financially secure future.
In Savings & Retirement, learn about the rule of 72 and understand the importance of compound interest when investing your money for retirement. Then learn about various types of investments, the impact of investing principles, and terms such as "diversification" and "risk vs return."
By the end of the session, you will be familiar with an array of retirement savings options and understand the pros and cons of using professional investing options to save for your future.
Financial Beginnings virtual self-help classes are available at no cost and are not required as part of the Proud Ground program.

Financial Beginnings: Protecting Yourself
Proud Ground has partnered with Financial Beginnings for this workshop on insurance to learn about an individualized approach to protect yourself and your finances. Apply effective habits and strategies to prevent or recover from identity theft. In Protecting Yourself, explore ways to avoid becoming a victim of identity theft and how to recover if your identity is stolen. Then learn about the different types of insurance and take a deep dive into auto and health insurance.
Homebuyer Education Class
Are you buying a home from Proud Ground? Congratulations! As you know, you are required to complete an 8-hour homebuyer education class prior to closing on your home. After you have completed a class, you will meet with our homeownership counselor. Plan to provide information about your homeownership class participation in that meeting.
Take the class offered by Proud Ground
You may choose to take the homebuyer education class offered by Proud Ground through our vendor, Framework. This is an a-synchronous class. That means you can take it whenever you want!
Please note that there is a $75 fee to take this class.
